NANM Concert Series presents Vocal Master Class with Opera singer Marquita Lister
Come support the contestants of the 2016 NANM vocal competition and the winners of the "George Shirley Vocal Competition" for the High School Youth Division of the Ben Holt Memorial Branch.
In celebration of the National Association of Negro Musicians, The Prism Symphony Youth Orchestra will perform during the 40th annual convention for The National Association of Negro Musicians. Celebrating the diversity of instrumentalists in the classical setting, students between the ages of 15-21 are encouraged to apply. Get the chance to meet other musicians from around the country, enjoy workshops from conservatory trained musicians, and create lifelong friendships while learning new music. A $25 application fee is due May 25, 2015.
Join us Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 4 p.m. for a Christmas Celebration featuring excerpts from Handel's Messiah featuring outstanding soloists, Chamber Orchestra and the Artist Group of Washington, D.C.
